At Shine Theatre Arts, we believe that everyone should have the chance to dance. Our school gives children the opportunity to experience dance in multiple genres, to perform on stage and compete locally.
We are all about creating the best space and atmosphere for our students. We aim to make our studios a place where young dancers love to be, and always work to cultivate a fun, positive and inclusive environment. We love to see and bring out the potential in our students and to challenge and push them in a healthy and encouraging way. Whether the dancer wants to enjoy a class once a week or pursue a career in Performing Arts we are passionate about enabling them to fulfil their potential.
Our experienced teachers are committed to training our students in a professional, fun and inspiring way. Our students have the opportunity to work towards exams with the IDTA which is recognised internationally and also offers the students UCAS points.
We also offer non-exam-based classes, workshops, masterclasses and summer schools, as well as working towards shows and competitions.

Our school promotes further training and many of our students study on associate programs with some of the UK's Leading Dance Schools, including Northern Ballet, The Royal Ballet School, Phoenix Boys and company, Renaissance, Yorkshire Elite Associates, Ballet Boost, Denman Theatre School & Stagebox. Shine Theatre Arts has lots of friends throughout the performing world, who visit us and put on exclusive workshops.
